Overview

Confidence from day one.

Your operators know cranes. The TIDD Operator Familiarisation Programme makes sure they know the TIDD. Delivered by factory-trained experts, on your schedule and on your site.

Know your gear

Getting a new crane into your fleet is only half the job. Making sure your operators can run it safely and confidently from day one is the other half.

TRT's TIDD Crane familiarisation programme is built around how real operators work. It's flexible, practical, and delivered by the same people who design and build the machine. Whether your team is in Brisbane or a remote site in Western Australia, we'll find a way to get to you.

  • Delivery Options
  • In-Person with a Factory-Trained Expert

One of our TIDD specialists comes to your site and works through the machine with your operators face to face. Hands-on, practical, and specific to your configuration.

  • Distance Familiarisation with Expert Support

Not every site is accessible. For remote operators, we offer live video sessions with a factory-trained expert who can walk your team through the machine in real time.

  • Full Familiarisation Video

A comprehensive video resource covering all key operating procedures, accessible online at any time. QR codes inside the crane cab link directly to the video so operators can reference it on the job.

  • Online Manual Access, 24/7

Full operator manual available online around the clock. No hunting for a physical copy. The information is there when you need it.

    The TIDD operator Familiarisation Video

Every key procedure, covered in detail, by the team that knows the TIDD better than anyone.

The TIDD familiarisation video covers everything from pre-operational checks to safety procedures and operator controls. It is available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so operators can use it as a reference before first operation or any time they need a refresher.

For remote teams, the video provides a practical virtual option where in-person delivery is not immediately available. QR code links are built into the crane cab itself, giving operators direct access from the seat.

Here for Your Team, Wherever You Are

Operator familiarisation is available across Australia and New Zealand through TRT and our authorised dealer network. Our factory-trained experts can travel to most locations, including remote sites, and where in-person delivery isn't practical we'll find another way to get it done. Some programmes may need to be tailored to suit your location and access requirements. Get in touch and we'll work out what suits you.

Important Note: This programme is a familiarisation tool, not a formal verification of competency or accredited crane operator training. It should be used alongside physical hands-on familiarisation prior to first TIDD PC28 or PC28-2 operation.
